Technology
This site is built statically with Astro, the 3D experience uses Three.js and React Three Fiber. The map renders a procedurally generated topography of Germany.

Zoo and animal data come from public sources (Wikipedia, official zoo websites, IUCN Red List). Images are provided via Unsplash. For up-to-date information, please visit the respective zoo's website.
